The recently-constructed Heirloom Flats, located in Bloomfield Center, is walking distance to many amenities, including shops, restaurants, the town hall and the library.

Large, extensive windows allow access to natural light. Each facade offers a different streetscape, with the east side providing front stoops and the north and west sides more reflective of a larger apartment complex. The proximity of the sidewalk to the front doors provides for a nice transition from residential space to the public streetscape. Balconies create a tiny glimpse of everyday living that softens the building and makes it feel less like a blank wall and more like part of a neighborhood.

The grand entrance creates a sense of identity with its signature sign, natural-feeling woodwork, and inviting porch swing that encourages people to linger.
